A fountain unfolding through the encounter of two artists. The piece builds upon an ongoing fieldwork during which the artists traveled across the Turkish Mediterranean shoreline collecting seawater samples. Two samples were taken from two locations that border the city of Antalya. These samples are now the source of the fountain and are connected through paths that connect the locations on the Mediterranean shoreline.
Offering opportunities for observation, reflection, and ritualistic performance, the aim of the piece is to make space to think about gathering, storing, moving and transforming parts of nature and searching for different ways of connecting with the sea and each other.

Still a seawater fountain is hand made by Lonca Studio in Antalya.
The artists created a publication to accompany the fountain during their residency with the Hür Adalar Press Artist-in-Residence Program in Alanya in autumn 2025. 111 copies of this publication were produced with a mimeograph and will be made available next to the piece for visitors to take during the opening event.

İki sanatçının karşılaşmasından doğarak gelişen bir çeşme. Eser, sanatçıların Türkiye’nin Akdeniz kıyı şeridi boyunca seyahat ederek deniz suyu örnekleri topladığı süregelen bir alan çalışmasıyla başladı.
Çeşmenin kaynağını oluşturan iki örnek, Antalya’ya sınırı olan iki farklı konumdan alındı. Bu örnekler, şimdi çeşmenin suyunun kaynağı ve Akdeniz kıyı şeridindeki konumlarını birbirine bağlayan yollarla birbirlerine bağlı.
Eser, gözlem, muhakeme ve ritüelistik performansı odağına alarak, doğanın parçalarını toplama, depolama, taşıma ve dönüştürme üzerine düşünmek ve denizle ve birbirimizle bağ kurmanın farklı yollarını aramak için bir alan açmayı hedefliyor.
Eser, Lonca Studio tarafından Antalya’da üretildi.
Sanatçılar, 2025 sonbaharında Alanya'daki Hür Adalar Misafir Sanatçı Programı’nda çeşmeye eşlik etmesi için bir yayın hazırladı ve bir teksir makinesinde 111 kopya bastı. Bu edisyonlar, esere açılış gününde eşlik etti.
